High Lift Drums

The McCloskey High Lift Drum is the most popular drum style in use today and is designed for maximum screening throughput in top-soil, compost, mulch and sticky materials.

Featuring a series of flat lifting bars, the High Lift Drum will bring material right to the top of the drum and throw it at the opposite screen panel, ensuring that the full diameter of the drum is used.

This allows McCloskey Trommels to screen as much, or more, material than other larger diameter trommels featuring shallow triangular lifting bars.

A simple solution, made possible by our high torque drum drive systems and powerful Caterpillar engines.
