McCloskey I-54 Impactor
Designed to be the most productive horizontal impact crusher in the sub 50 tonne class, the McCloskey I-54 Impactor is built around a 47" (1200mm) x 53" (1350mm) four bar impactor chamber with a 37" x 53.5" feed opening.
The 9 cubic yard hopper with 54" (1360mm) wide vibrating pan feeder feeds the crusher over an independently vibrating 4'-6" x 5'-9" double deck pre-screen. This removes the majority of the fines in advance of the crushing chamber, greatly increasing capacity while reducing wear and controlling product size. The fines can be diverted to the main belt, or to the side conveyor.
Crushed material is discharged from the chamber to a 5' (1500mm) x 6'-7" (2000mm) pan feeder. This unit is both larger and operates at a steeper incline than any other similar system, ensuring that the material is cleared quickly in high TPH applications, all while protecting the conveyor belt from damage.
The I-54 is powered by a 430HP C13 ACERT CAT engine, ensuring ample power, parts availability and compliance with Tier III emissions regulations.
